Ryuhiko (Raen Au Ra, he/him and she/her pronouns) in a closeup shot. He is wearing something off the shoulders, is decorated with gold and silver jewelry, and gently touches a job stone - blue and with an hourglass motif - that is kept on a necklace he wears.

( cw snakes , ophidiophobia ) Ryuhiko (Raen Au Ra, he/him and she/her pronouns) leaning on a coiling python, eyes up towards the viewer and mouth open with fangs bared as an apple falls by his mouth. Above her head is another serpent with its maw open; has it given her the fruit or does it ready to devour her in turn? Is it both benefactor and unmaker? Ryuhiko's pose and expression are both tempting, the faintest hint of a smirk on his lips, inviting the viewer to join him.

Ryuhiko (Raen Au Ra, he/him and she/her pronouns) striking a pose as though finishing a dance; a blue serpent is her partner. He wears a long black dress with lace gloves and stockings amidst a storm, holding a hand under the serpent's chin. It storms around them both in Seiryu's final arena. She regards the serpent with contempt.

Ryuhiko (Raen Au Ra, he/him and she/her pronouns) in a recreation of the cover for Kate Bush's Never For Ever (1980, original art by Nick Price). Ryuhiko stands with his hands behind his head, looking at the camera with a dreamy gaze as birds, snakes, sea monsters, and dragons fly out from underneath the skirt of his dress.

Ryuhiko (Raen Au Ra, he/him and she/her pronouns) sits on top of a tree out in Summerford Farms with his younger self sitting in his lap. They're both in their pajamas, looking out over the La Noscean countryside as though the two of them snuck out together. Ryuhiko tells his younger self stories while Ryuhiko as a child looks up at him. The child Ryuhiko looks enraptured by what he has to say, enthralled by the smile on his older self's face, as though he's been given something to look forward to in the future.

Ryuhiko (Raen Au Ra, he/him and she/her pronouns) dances atop a pool of water. He is wearing a dress that invokes an astrologian's set, fashioned into a garment with off-shoulder sleeves, golden jewelry, a mermaid skirt, and simple pumps. He looks towards the starlight peering through an opening in the ceiling, the light of magic dancing around him. While his face isn't visible, he looks calm and at peace. Ryuhiko (Raen Au Ra, he/him and she/her pronouns) looking at the viewer, harsh lighting illuminating him from the side. He is dressed in golden jewelry and regalia, his expression blank as an ouroboros- a blue snake devouring its own tail - frames his face. Beside him, the image of himself repeats. Over and over again, the cycle plays out. The portrait is in homage to Heather Mason from Silent Hill 3, invoking the image of her encountering a Halo of the Sun and entering a save screen. The ouroboros is an illustration by @/patsux.

A picture of Ryuhiko (Raen Au Ra, he/him and she/her pronouns). Ryuhiko wears golden jewelry across his body, including a decorated circlet and over his horns. He looks up and off to the side, a neutral expression on his face; lips parted, eyes lidded. She is closed in by a tight black border, blurred edges bleeding different colors as though in a dream.

Ryuhiko (Raen Au Ra, he/him and she/her pronouns) stands in darkness, holding his staff in one hand and leaving his opposite hand free. A bluebird flies alongside him; his hair billows in the wind as he looks over his shoulder with a subtle smile on his face. #hirunmods #juneglams #powmods

A gpose of Ryuhiko (Raen Au Ra, he/him and she/her pronouns) wielding a blade in Seiryu's likeness. A bluebird flies behind him; he chooses not to regard it, a look of resignation and passivity - perhaps consideration, just shy of understanding - overtaking his expression.

An in-game picture of a Hyune from Solution Nine, charging forward with twin blades in hand. The Hyune has magenta hair and wears black and blue techwear. Behind him looms an entity presented by Necron, the shadow of death and darkness eternal; its 'face' is covered in glitched pixels, as though it cannot be comprehended. The Hyune has a striking resemblance to Ryuhiko's husband, color palette aside.

Ryuhiko (Raen Au Ra, he/him and she/her pronouns) dressed in a red gown styled after Furiae from Drakengard. He stands against an ominous red backdrop, dark tendrils like veins gathering up to form a pillar. He holds a hand against his shoulder, as if bathing in blood or relishing in his current state.

Ryuhiko begins to break down into tears. After recalling his husband's voice, he calls out to him once more: "Oh, my beloved... Tell me I'm not like him." Caught between his anger, his sorrow, his guilt, and the knowledge that he is acting exactly like his mother, Ryuhiko cries out, "I am no Deathweaver! I have the power to choose!" - this reaffirms another statement his beloved spoke to him once.

A Hyur Midlander poses against a black background with arms outstretched above their head. They look up at the viewer, expression neutral. They have a warm skin tone, long brown hair, and dark eyes; they wear blue dress with golden accents and single sleeve.

Atop a shimmering white and gold platform carrying a pool of bright water, nestled in a pond with aquatic flora, Ryuhiko (Raen Au Ra, he/him and she/her pronouns) and his mother, Kikuchi-no-Hanami (Raen Au Ra, she/her pronouns) are engaged in an altercation with one another. The fight is likely over a myriad of things, as they tend to be, but Hanami's diminutive stature prevents her from reaching out and grabbing either Ryuhiko - be it his wrist or her own staff, held over her in the opposite hand. Their traditional roles are reversed, with Ryuhiko above his mother while she is on her knees below; it is little wonder she is enraged and screaming at him as he darts away from her. Ryuhiko's own expression is not visible, but his body language angles him backwards, even if he would fall - sinking to her level - to escape her. The white lotus remains out of frame. The bluebird flies away, rushing out of the scene; it has served its purpose. Faintly, in the bottom of the frame, blue serpent scales can just barely be seen. The ouroboros lingers. The cycle continues.

Kikuchi-no-Hanami (Raen Au Ra, she/her pronouns) framed by a white border. She is on a beach somewhere, opening her eyes as if waking up. Her eyes and hair have an otherworldly glow; she returns from the lifestream once more, for better or for worse.

Ryuhiko (Raen Au Ra, he/him and she/her pronouns) wearing a long white dress while at least shin deep in water, performing a dance-like ritual with accompanying magic before an altar. The air shimmers around him, the glimmering sparkle of magic casting iridescence at the hem of his skirts; though his gaze is flung elsewhere, focused but wistful.

An incorrect manifestation of the serpent vessels, the devourer-goddess. She appears as a Raen Au Ra with light multicolored scales, white hair, and ornate golden jewelry, wearing a robe that leaves her shoulders and collar bare. She looks at the viewer with a piercing gaze and a sneer, lip curled to show her fangs.

cw eye strain Ryuhiko's husband (Hyur Midlander, he/him pronouns) in the middle of an eruptive transformation. Black and blue bursts from his chest on either side, and his visible right arm is extended with his palm open, lips curled back as he lets out a yell.

( cw anatomical heart ) Ryuhiko (Raen Au Ra, he/him and she/her pronouns) wields a time mage's staff as though in combat, teeth grit and visible eye wide as his exposed heart has been pierced through with a blade of light. Behind him looms the specter of his mother in the form of the bluebird.

Kikuchi-no-Hanami (Raen Au Ra, she/her pronouns) looking over her shoulder up at the viewer, wearing a swimsuit. Her long hair is tied up for once, baring her arms, shoulders, and scales. While her smile is confident, it's also a bit incredulous.
